Yes, I do have a bit of a Snow White thing going. Sure! We had knitkin Snow White Slippers and now someone else sees my Snow White inclinations coming out in my “Pebbles Wristlets“.

I think these might be the softest garment I’ve made yet – tiny chenille pom-poms in cream and caramel (yum!) all strung together with chenille yarn. Smooth and stretchy just like actual caramels!

After a glorious confetti avalanche of Christmas wrapping paper I’m remembering taking this photo of my Knitkin wrapping of the moment for two pre-Christmas orders. I decided to use the yarn labels around the knit items because as well as detailing washing instructions these labels look nice!

I’m also using long Knitkin tags with personalization where appropriate.

Immediately after deciding that my Knitkin shop would be wilderness-inspired I felt compelled to make some frou-frou fancy wristlets whose only nod to the wild would be a party at Versailles!

I have sourced a lovely yarn called Narvik which I am using as single strands, double and now even quadruple strands. I  have to say it feels wonderfully abundant to knit from four balls of yarn on giant 15mm needles. I think 15mm needles are usually used to make rugs.

The Narvik Moose Wristlets above are knit with four strands of super chunky yarn and end up being like giant bear paw mittens which feel fantastic to wear. I’ve also made a pair with two strands of Narvik yarn in 2×2 rib in Atlantic Ocean colors – Narvik Ocean Wristlets.

I think this style and color of fingerless glove / wrist cuff also works well for men.

Having made some super-chunky wrist warmers for me, a friend and my shop in a lovely gray yarn, I’m now double- and tripling-up yarn to make super-cosy, super-chunky wristies.

I am loving these Fall Leaves Wristies, they are so Autumnal and Medieval too. Ah

It only takes a couple of days of drizzly rain and a cool breeze on the last of the summer air that hints at Fall coming to have me straight on to the 4mm needles to knit something cosy.

I have been a little neglectful of Knitkin which is in direct relation to the hot weather. I have, however, been making various darlings for my Lullaby Lily shop.

Here are a sweet little pair of Baby Mohair Arm (or Leg) Warmers. These are just the most useful accessory for babies and toddlers since they are cosy on pulse points and very cute in a 1980′s meets 2000′s way.
